Titan 65 gallon replacement fuel tank

just installed , dealer did it and set the program for 65 gallons. On first fill up showed 999 miles to empty, stayed there for the first 20 miles or so and is now showing 750 miles to empty and gauge is at 3/4 , Said it would take a few tanks to get the averages back in line but I love it so far.
Painted the straps with a rattle can of bed liner paint , didnt like the shinny look of the straps. some pics...

I love my 65 gallon tank. Have had it installed for over 5 years now. I get the 999 for like 250 miles before it starts to decrement. Usually the first 10 gallons used does not start the fuel gauge to decline. Pulling my 5th wheel, about 7.5k, i can go about 600 miles with ease.

Yes im setting up the truck to be the tow machine it was designed to be.....plan is for a big heavy 5th wheel with garage for the Harley....retirement and traveling the country....long distance options are a must...also looking at the side kick style of aux tank , the 15 gallon ones that go up over the wheel well to carry some high test for the v-twin but not sure how to effect a nice clean way to, transfer to pump it into the bike...

What ever transfer pump you decide, make sure it is gasoline compatible. Fil-Rite might have one. Most transfer pumps are for diesel and the seals aren't compatible with gasoline.

Also, not sure if gasoline "tanks" are DOT approved for enclosed areas of a trailer??? Your insurance company might not approve either.

Check the certification and make sure fuel includes gasoline.

Would be soo cool to have a 65 gallon Titan but good God almighty I'd hate to fill it all at once. I know it's all relevant but still.

That is good it is ok for gasoline. Not many tanks seem to be ok for gas.

Yes, can require a couple or 3 swipes of the credit card or a trip inside to pay for a fill when the tank is close to empty.

you will be surprised how many people pass you more than twice when you are covering a long stretch of highway and that is even you making pit stops for the bathroom and fixing a sandwich if towing rv at the rest areas.
