2015+ Turbo Retrofit kit on 2011-2014

I know this is old news to most... but we still get tons of calls and questions about this subject so we made a little video.

Ford has a complete kit that includes everything needed to put a 2015+ turbo on the f250 f350 f450 2011-2014 trucks (you will really get the latest style turbo which is the 2017 style, but most call it the 2015 retrofit kit). You can piece it together for a little cheaper but these kits are VERY inclusive. All Ford OEM parts. It includes everything from the up pipes, exhaust manifold, gaskets, turbo, pedestal, etc... etc...

The newer style turbo is more reliable, easier/cheaper to rebuild, and can gain over 100hp with just a turbo swap. It does require a custom tune and will spool a little slower.

Check out this video to learn more and see the differences.

My turbo just had a 360 kit and billet wheel done by you guys for my retrofit upgrade. Stoked to drive the final product a week from now! Thanks!

Let's say someone is wanting to do this conversion on a truck that has went on a "diet" can they call you and piece together the kit with you to exclude pieces they wont need thus making it slightly cheaper. Or is it basically you're stuck buying your whole kit.

I honestly think the kit is super affordable 2600 for the turbo and all the parts and pieces is surprisingly low.

No, it is one complete kit. Like 1 HUGE box that ways 120lbs.

But I know people who have taken the brand new OEM parts and listed them on Ebay and resold some of them to help with the price difference.

There are lots of great tuners out there that can provide tunes depending on which device you have. But KC turbos does not do any tuning sadly.

To anybody thinking about doing this, don't wait! It was a substantial upgrade for my truck. I paired it with a 2015+ HPFP as well as had KC Turbos throw in a 360 oil slinger and billet wheel into the turbo. It doesn't even feel like the same truck. Increased reliability AND better performance? I'll take it! Thanks again KC Turbos!

I recently had my turbo upgraded to the 2017 on my 2011. There is a noticeable difference. On the low end It started putting black smoke out the back , but on the top end when the turbo spools it sh*ts and gets. I have a Mini Maxx with canned tunes and am afraid to try to put a custom tune on it since they are nearly defunct now. I kinda miss the wastegate howl and whistle though.

I have a 2011 with the KC 2015+ Turbo Upgrade.
Would love to be able to have the Exhaust Brake option like the newer trucks.
Has anyone had any success with this?
