Midland/Odessa Repair shops? Timing cover leak

So I have a leak, from supposedly the timing cover. The shop I normally use in South Texas doesn't dig that deep into diesels, so I had to drive it back up to West Texas. Can anyone recommend a shop out here? I'm looking at possibly a 13-15hr repair job, so I'd like to throw my business to people that others trust, and that's hard to find out here.

You would think short of a great place like Heavy mentioned or say a shop like Stricktly Deisel or BPD in AZ the Texas Ford dealers would be one of the best for this repair since their warranty is going to cover a failed fix nationwide
and their quote should be firm unless something crazy pops up

keep us posted

Just a thought. Most Ford dealerships have pretty competent techs. I have had 50/50 with Dealerships. Couple in California were flatout con artist with the exception of one of their techs who did side work all the time because of it. Then in my home of Idaho the one closest to me has been very good with price/service etc.

Just a thought unless you already got spooked by the nearest Ford dealer to you etc.

I am not opposed to the ford dealership necessarily. I just had some work done with the one in S texas before, and wouldn't you know it, a week later.....I had other issues....

Thanks for all the advice.

you can always start with having them do diagnostics by dropping some dye in the oil and verify the "supposed" location of the leak

and get an estimate they should/may waive the diag fee with the repair

SO just an update. I finally got it fixed. It didn't end up being the timing chain cover, but instead a vaccum seal and another seal. Midland Transmission and Gear lined me out at $115/hr and they did great job.
