What oil are you guys running

I know the ford manual says 10w30 but i tow a small enclosed trailer for work and was woundering what you guys run. In my 6.0 i ran 5w40 summer and 15w40 winter. Winters over now and time to change

5w40 Rotella. Why? Because. Motorcraft filters...all of them.

You ran the thicker multivisc. in the winter? Would've expected the other way around.

Plan on using Rotella T6, 15w40.

The FSM calls for either 10-30 or 5-40 depending on conditions. Depending on what you call "small" for a trailer, it shouldnt fall into the severe category.
That said, I run 5-40 because 20% of my driving is short trips.

I run 5w40 year round. Vavoline PBE, Rotella T6 or Motorcraft 5w40.
