Fox or Bilstein shocks

Just purchased a used 2012 f 350 and want to update shocks. What do you think Bilstein 5100 or Fox 2.0 performance series. My truck is stock, no lift. Any feed back?

I do some towing with a bumper pull and a gooseneck trailer. Up to 20000# with the gooseneck. Are there any issues that way?

Interested in this as well. Mines not a daily driver but a work horse as well.

Stock? Sure, that's what we'll call it.

As a general rule the Bilsteins will be softer and are more of a road shock. The Foxs will be heavier and more of an off road shock. Both are fine for either tho.

I had Fox 2.0s on my 6.4 and will be doing the same on my 6.7. Can't really go wrong with either, especially over the stock shocks.

I just installed Bilstein 5100's on all 4 corners and steering stabilizer. There were Monroe's on it and they were still in pretty good shape. I really like the Bilstein's and i tow a TH that weighs about 11,000. I dont go off road and i agree with comment to buy what your wallet allows. The Fox are pricey and overkill in my opinion for average everyday use.

IIRC, there was a post in one of the other "which shock" threads that Bilstein recommended the 4600 for stock height trucks that tow. They get no love because they are yellow.
