what did you do to your 6.4 today?

just like the title sais. figured all other models have their own "what did you do today" so why not us? anyways bought my 6.4 about a month ago just like it sits. went from a built obs 7.3 to a 6.4. bone stock powertrain wise. not perfect but couldn't pass up on the deal. since ive had it its received sct tuner with delete options, 4' tb diamond eye exhaust, led swap. bought truck with leaking radiator and come to find out radiator and both rad hoses were leaking. so bought oem updated hoses, t-stats, and bought a brand new radiator. radiator is aftermarket from a company called radiator classic. has lifetime warranty so for $232 I said what the hell. anyways I did afe intake and ccv delete, removed old radiator yesterday and got called into work(firefighter) so ill be replacing old with new on sunday along with a new flo pro egr delete with elbow. sorry I gave a long story but I thought it was necessary. oh btw pics or it didn't happen, and KCCO.

I was thinking the same thing with the ccv but it wasn't blowing that much so I just put aq filter on it. when/if it gets messy ill run a piece of hose.

I don't get why everybody freaks out about the CCV

it's effective, and unless you've got massive blowby (wouldn't you want to fix that?) it doesn't really have any negative impact on performance. I've removed intercoolers with 150k miles on them that I couldn't get a drop of oil out of.

honestly, I'd give up some performance to not have a truck that smelled like an old 12v Cummins and had a steady haze of smoke pouring out from under it, or in this case from under the hood (both from the actual vent itself and soon from the oil condensation dripping down and eventually finding hot exhaust components)

I ran mine in behind my front bumper. The fan sucks the smoke up and disperses it so it isn't even noticeable. Unless you look underneath right where the hose is
