I have a 6.0 and prefer the Edge CTS monitor. It displays 10 gauges and if the truck has a sensor, I can switch in between whichever 10 I want. It can be pricey to add an external sensor in. Adding a oil pressure gauge, I have to buy their sensor, and EAS attachment. I think around $200. When tired, I like using the grab assist handle on the A Pillar. I also like being able to change one of those 10 gauges to something else easily.

for what I can research EGT is a must, but I see also boost is a big one. If I have a factory boost gauge do I need a aftermarket one?

Most go with a screen type monitor opposed to a pillar style 3 gauge setup. Its easier and you can change what you want to monitor. Coolant temp, oil temp, trans temp, and egt are the big 4 to watch. The factory boost gauge is accurate and you dont need an aftermarket one. A warning light will come on if oil pressure drops below 5 psi and there is rarely an oil pressure problem on these trucks

Right now we have a special going on with EDGE and if you buy the Insight CTS2 monitor, they have a rebate for a free accessory. Which in your case you could get the EGT probe.

Was thinking of adding:

Oil pressure gauge

Oil temperature Gauge

Transmission temperature gauge (for a more accurate reading with digital)

or should I used a different combination?

My truck is a 2008 F-350 Crew Cab SRW, not deleted (due to warranty I will not delete until sometime in the future)

Just skip the pillar gauges and buy an edge insight cts2. You can see all of those plus many more and read/clear codes.

Egt probe is not necessary on the 6.4 as it already has one in the up pipe that is more reliable than the edge.

I wasn't sure if he wanted one in the exhaust manifold. I assumed he already knew his truck had one.

But EDGE's rebate is for any EAS accessory with the purchase of the Insight CTS2.

is this one I can tie into?

Thank you for the suggestions but I already have most of the gauge pods and a-piller pod case, so this is the direction i am going in.
