ford blue spring w/ to much psi

i know i read that some have had this problem and well so did I this evening. I realized the brass cup was really tight so i took it apart and used the old cup now she's perfect was at 50-55 now 70ish. just wanted to throw it out there i'd really only replace the spring and the long oring. you can get just the spring kit from riffraff diesel for like 35$

Yep my blue spring puts out 71 psi at idle and maybe drops to 63 at WOT. Not sure what it was before the Blue spring.

mines an 04 but only has 66k on it so don't know how worn the spring was since 55 ain't bad buut the 70 is much better to me. i put a 0-100 gauge in at the test port but don't even just leave it in it will not read right after a short time.
