I've snagged a few cats and coons with several different vehicles. They like to climb up there after you park during the winter since the motor is still warm. For the squirel problem a pellet gun will solve the problem. I would stay away from shooting a .22 in town though, I've only done that once and the only reason I did that was because there was a coon my dog treed in the middle of day I didn't want to bite anyone/my dog. I've heard that a lot of times when you see a coon or opossum in the day a lot of times they could have rabies.

This thread is hilarious

I can relate though. I had a squirrel problem at one of my retail stores. they are persistent

They won't just go away. You have to deal with them. My solution was a high powered pellet gun with scope from the local BasPro Shop. I'd go into the store at the crack of dawn and wait for em. Took me a wk but finally got all 3. I figured with the 1st one on the 1st day that the rest would have just left. But nope, they just got sneakier.

I also live in suburbia and shoot any stray critters that trespass on the property with the intent to topple trash cans, eat my Koi fish, dive bomb my daughters kittens.....

I just shoot from inside the house out the windows or doors.

Get yourself some rat traps, or a pellet gun

A .17 sharp point pellet will take them out at 100 feet no problem. killed 30 of the little buggers so far this year I live in town and my neighbors dont seem to notice. Of course I use a spring fired pellet rifle. At 50 ft the pellet goes clean through. Ive tried rat traps and live traps the pellet rifle works the best 30 to 1.

used to trap them (dead) by using a 5 gal bucket 3/4 full of water, a beer can on a wire across the top (so it spins) and a board from the ground to the top of bucket (access ramp). then smear peanut butter up the board and onto the beer can. Rat/squirrel tries to get on can to eat peanut butter, spins, sploosh, dead in short order....

Got ya! I was thinking about the dogs/cats that would be around. Yea, I got really pi$$ed for a second. Then I saw you are a military member. Then I saw a G-dub quote. Figured you had to be a good guy and were joking. All good and yea, I would agree....just take em out by shooting them!
