Something to consider, Garrett recently had a price increase, by the looks of some prices out there these shops have NO IDEA. Reason being, they dont have any in stock and have no idea what they cost.

We have both models in stock and ship them out daily. Please let us know if you are interested in one.

I'm just mad that my last stock turbo only lasted 21k miles.

Are you stock? Folks were telling me I needed tunes to get the benefit from the Powermax, and make it work right. I lived with it for about 8 months before I decided to try a tune. Now, it works better. It was very laggy without the tune.

I got the powermax because I needed a turbo quick, and RiffRaff had it to me the next day.

I just ordered one of these also. What tune did you end up getting to get it to work to your liking??

I'm just starting with Matt's SRL for Powermax. He has tunes written for this turbo. Don't know what the difference would be.

I also have his 8000# tow tune and unlimited tow, both for Powermax. I haven't tried those yet.

Forgot to add. The same week I got the turbo, I also got the Atlas 40 FICM tune. My MPGs did go up, but don't know if it was the repair to FICM or the Atlas 40, or both.

I do know that the tune (SRL) has helped hold my MPGs up with the winter fuel we deal with. And the idle time increase in the winter. Can't wait for summer time fuel.

It's a different truck now.
