Battery light has been coming on. Stayed on for the past 15 hours but went off while checking codes...had none. Batteries are fine and alt is charging all though its only showing 13.5 or so. Also had to order the mounting bracket for my IPR coolant filter that I was going to mount this weekend but bracket was MIA. So I went ahead and ordered the filter tool too.

I had Atlas 40 tuned on it, but took it back to stock when I did the injector swap. With the bigger injectors I knew I'd be pushing the S2 already, and with the bigger nozzles and the stock nozzle FICM tuning, it was just way too hot and smoky. Jay said the bigger nozzle files will be better for that, so it's back on the list.

Yep, did the rear last year and the front this weekend. Diffs aren't bad, just suck to do on the ground without a lift lol. The only special tools required for a carrier swap are a dial indicator to adjust backlash, a bearing puller (for the front only), and a press to get the bearings on/off. The rear is super easy since the shims are outboard of the bearings, on the front they're inboard so it takes a bit more to move the factory shims over.....I always just re-use the factory shims as a starting point and go from there.

2017 F250 CCLB KR "Nighthawk" Edition.....goodies to come.

Then again, the truck doesn't seem to have the same ooommph it did with MPD so that's probably why. I haven't towed anything yet though.

ON the subject of the FICM tuner. I saw there were strategies for 2003, 2004 and 2005+ in the tuner. Does it make a real difference which one you use? I used the 2004 since my truck is a late '04, but are there benefits to using the '03 or 05+?
