Yeah I saw that too and thought wow, the didn't try to swap a Cummins in it.

Does anyone know if someone makes an aftermarket dipstick? I went to check the oil and the T handle popped off leaving the stick in the tube

04 f250 sold.

You have it all wrong... They should've put a Cummins with an Allison transmission because that's the most sought after combination.... it's like the holy grail.

I was actually talking to my friend last night and he said you know what the best truck would be? Cummins motor, Allison trans, and Ford body....so its funny you bring it up...I thought it was funny when he said that. People think its a great transmission cause its the only one that has a name that people can actually remember if you aren't into the vehicle.

I've always thought about looking into getting or maybe making a metal one, cause the one I have is cracked and I have trouble with it every time.

Don't necessarily need a fancy one but was thinking if someone made a stronger one out of metal then it should last longer. Thanks for the link to ficmrepair I didn't think they were that cheap so I might just order one until I can have one made.
