Security

My 05 f350 was just broken into quite easily with a screwdriver apparently. No damage except for the lock cylinder I can see.
Hotel actually had 30.06 and 30.07 signs, so I obliged. Pistol was taken out of center console.
Im wanting a great alarm-if it shocks or shoots thats better, but also a secure locking console that looks stock, and some kind of plates to prevent the lock cylinder and screwdriver issue again.

You need to get “Jimmi Jammers” for the door locks and a lock box for your carry weapon. You can check “Riff Raff” for the Jimmi Jammers.

Your pistol was stolen ?

Imagine catching that theif in the act and you getting blasted by your own weapon

F the signs the only place I won't carry is fed buildings, airport ( past the check line) and state buildings that wand

if you are forced to lock in in the truck atleast carry handcuffs to secure the weapon in some feeble manner

and hidden is way better than console IMO

@ZMANN that’s exactly what my wife said. I normally disregard the signs, but I just missed my flight and went to a hotel. I thought about putting it in my bag, but didn’t want to forget when I went to the airport the next day. That’s what I get for thinking it will be ok for one night.

I ordered a console safe that I’ll beef up when I get home and some jimmy jammers. An alarm with a proximity sensor will be on the list when I get back. Oddly they didn’t take my tuner or checkbook. Probably a democrat that never saw a check before, except for his welfare check.

At least I have a good reason to buy another pistol.

I will give kudos to the Hyatt though. They offered to pay for damages, and repay me for the cost of the ruger.

Good to hear that you are being taken care of by the hotel. I personally would not have honored their no weapon policy, never have. After reading then responding to your thread I decided, why put it off any longer? so I went ahead and ordered the four door Jimmi Jammer set from Riff Raff also. Good luck to you.

I didnt know there was a problem with the rears too, but Ill get them ordered too. I should look into tempered glass for the sides and rear too. On an interesting note, I found shocking door handles from TAG. Ill give them a call for more info.

Tag? I wouldn't mind some shockers, can you elaborate?
