Angry 2003 Valve Covers. Limited supply

Hi all,
FYI
3C3Z-6582-BA.
3C3Z-6582-AA
Ford Warehouse (Dearborn, Michigan) only has 4 sets of valve covers available for the 2003 6.0 engine.
It seems this engine was a one year use design.
They have no plans to manufacture any more covers.
Once gone they are manufacture discontinued.
Best place to order from is Gaudin Ford in Las Vegas.
They were over $300 a set cheaper than local dealers.
However, Ford doesn’t package them well and being old stock, they come in beat up.

Since this engine is almost an International VT-365, I ordered a used set of used valve covers to see if they would work, they will bolt up but require modifications for the 6.0 application.

Can you be more specific about the modifications? I'm looking at an '03 Ex and would like to know.

Post 2004.4 the ICP sensor was added to the passenger cover and the CCV airbox was enlarged for better capture.
