Where are we buying parts these days?

Working on almost 6 years of happy ownership of the 6.0. Popped a CEL (P0671 - Cylinder No.1 Glow Plug Circuit) for glowplugs so I figured I would replace all of the glowplugs and harness. Currently a little over 132,000 miles on the rig. Also planning on getting doing the front end this fall/winter (U-Joints, seals, Ball Joints).

I used to buy Ford Parts from Sunrise here on the forum. I see that thread is no longer active. Where is everybody getting their Ford OEM parts from these days?

Motorcraft glow plugs can be purchased from autozone for about $10 a piece. You can also get many motorcraft parts from rockauto

Still a Supporting Vendor and actually $0.50 cheaper than AZ, but there would be shipping and time. Then again, you're only about 3-4 hours away from them if you're up for a road trip, LOL.

Ha. Could jump on the motorcycle and go for a ride! I have driven by them a few times.

Been doing a little more research and found I should probably do some testing on the GP's as it might also be the GPCM.

Thanks for the links! @Heavy_GD @G8orFord

@thebierguy Feel free to give us call for any large items. We are able to ship to WI with Speedee Delivery. Waltco is also a great option if it can go to a business. These methods are MUCH cheaper than UPS, Fed Ex, ect, for bulky or heavy items, but we're not able to give accurate quotes from the website.
Heavy_GD and Sock Puppet like this.
