Runs great then dyes after 15 to 20 min.
Hello all im a new member hope someone can help.😀

I have a 2005 6.0 was driveing down the road it Acted like it was running out of fuel then dyed.it would not restart had to get it towed home. I replaced the 2 fuel filters and replaced the cam sensor and the crank sensor then the ficum.the mechanic said he was 75% the ficum it was not then the other parts did not help. I have torque pro I will post screen shot.now it sits in my drive way can't drive it because I don't know what's wrong with it allready spent close to 700$ .I have video of it sputtering can't upload it.

Any codes? Do you have a fuel pressure gauge?

72 psi for fuel gauge.
Not throwing any codes.

Did this just start happening out of the blue? Have you had any work done recently? Are you getting any smoke out the tailpipe while it sputters? When's the last time you put fuel in it?

For giggles, i'd unplug the ICP sensor to see if that makes a difference.

Iím curious as to why the mechanic said FICM. Seems a rock solid 48 or 48.5 volts and thatís what Iíd check.

I wonder if he had codes prior to the FICM being changed and the shop cleared them...

I think the FICM has already been replaced and those readings are after the replacement.

The torque app isn't the most thorough code reader. ForScan is better for that. You really need a thorough scan for codes.

What oil are you running and how long (how many miles) has it been in there? Is the oil level good?

btw - it is FICM (Fuel Injection Control Module) not FICUM.

I unplugged the icp no change.no work has been done. No smoke except when cold then none.
