Powerstrokehelp trucks for sale

Wild Bill hewwitt reconditions and sells 6.0 trucks. A nice blue king ranch went for $36k. I currently have a 7.3 that is Nickle and dimeing me. AC, leaks, glow plugs. I almost bought a new Cummins a few months back but all this dpf jazz is going to be so expensive.

What do y'all think about wild Bill's trucks? Usually new engine, bulletproof, etc. I'm sure you've seen the videos.

I don't tow or anything. I like diesels and just ride around like a poser looking pretty in my redneck Cadillac.

Letís just be fair. After all is said and done, thatís right at 40 grand for a truck at least 12 years old. 12 years of old suspension and someone elseís farts trapped in the seat cushions. 12 years of someone else picking their nose and grabbing the steering wheel. 12 years of someone not making it to the gas station and adding the wrong shade of brown to the KR leather. You get the point.

For comparison, I just looked at a new titan (platinum reserve I think is what they called it), and they offered it to me for 43k. Granted it wasnít a diesel, and Iíve done business with this dealer since 1990, but thatís still a new truck with just about every option Nissan offers. Heads up display, Fender sound system, leather, sunroof, and an unlimited mileage lifetime power train warranty from the dealer as long as I own the vehicle. Thatís just a smidge more than a truck with a usually new engine.

Youíll be better off in the long run to buy a 15k truck online and tossing 10 grand out of the window.

I paid 33000 for my new 06 cclbd 6.0 out the door in 2006 when i bought it. I special ordered it to. It is an XL but I got cloth seats and high back buckets and dual alternators , 4.10 posi, tow mirrors, upfitters, brake controller , tow package , camper front coils , and some more options i dont remember. Used Fords trucks are getting spensive. Especially the fancy pants ones.

Not sure where you're located, if you are close to Bill's then drive your's down to @LoxDiesel and have him go over it. He'll treat you right and your truck'll be good for another 17 yrs. If you're in the midwest take it to CNC Fab and if you're in the Pacific NW take it to Ranaway. Any of those three will make your truck run like new for a LOT less than wild Bill
hansel and Patriot like this.

Not to mention that Pascal is a moron...and that's who you'll directly deal with at Bill's.

LoxDiesel in Palm Beach? I'm in Savannah.

Wild Bill claims to recondition the trucks to better than new and people snatch them up. They look really nice. I'm finding nice looking 6.0s on eBay way cheaper than the 7.3s. honestly, I'm afraid of the 6.7. repair bills on the 7.3 are high enough I can't imagine what repairs on a 6.7 are. The ram Cummins seems to be a simpler platform.

Maybe I'll just hang on to my 7.3. I just know every dime is money I'll never see again but if I paid 35k to wild Bill I guess I'd never see 10-15 of that again either.

If you see his for sale videos they are sweet rides.

36K for a 6.0? I wouldn't do it, but hey, If Wild Bill can get it, more power to him!
