Long Term Oil Analysis

I've been getting regular oil analysis and I know some have issues with Rotella T6 and I don't want to start another my oil is better than your oil but I thought I would share my results. I do use Archoil as well and try to stick close to the 5,000 mark although I did go over 6,000 due to an unplanned detour during a vacation last year.

Thanks for sharing that info. I'm sorta new to PSD and just wanna be clear... So in a nutshell (correct me if I'm wrong please) all oils are created equal?

I wouldn't go so far as to say they are all created equal but there are certainly some tribes that are staunch supporters of only one uber expensive oil. I don't doubt the oil they love is good but I offer up my own data for interpretation.

The semi-synthetic 15W40 crowd might consider Rotella T6 at $20+ a gallon an "uber expensive" oil!

Glad you are getting good results. The wear metals are certainly looking good.

You're right! It's all about perspective. I believe regular maintenance intervals play just as much, if not more importance, as the type of oil.
