Need help researching VIN numbers

Ok folks, I originally bought an orange and black 2004 Harley Davidson edition F250 6.0 because I'm also very into Harleys. It had about 256,000 miles, had never been bulletproofed, had a lot of rust, and it had been lifted and the original rims were gone. I found another 2004 but its the silver and black version. Its in immaculate condition with only about 160,000 miles. No rust at all and what seems to be all original. I traded the orange and black one for the silver and black one plus cash. After I got it home, I realized the center console badge did not have the VIN or the special edition number on the badge. I started researching and the only VIN number I can find is the the windshield tag. Anyone know exactly where other VINs are? None in the doors. Ford says the windshield tag VIN comes back as a 2004 Oxford White F250. I firmly believe my truck was or is stolen and a junkyard VIN tag now graces my windshield. Probably going to sue the dealership for selling me a stolen truck if it turns out it is. Any help?
Thanks,
Roy

I’ll check mine but I thought there was always a tag on the radiator support and one on the bed passenger side between the cab

Actually the two tags don’t have the VIN but they match each other...

chances are higher that someone wanted a Harley clone and did the duplication thing

a Harley would have PATS keys IIRC
