If you're only worried about losing the radio stations, I'm telling you they will still be there. My batts were out for about 3 days doing the oil cooler and the only thing I lost was the clock.

I had a the jolting problem on my 05, chased it for a long time. It was intermittent, some days constant followed by weeks of normal operation.

I replaced the IPR and IPC sensor, fuel filters ect...

It ended up being the IPC harness, I split the harness loom for troubleshooting and found 1 of the 3 IPC wires was being pinched against the hoist bracket.
The wire strand had broken inside the insulation so at a quick glance it appeared ok.
Solution : spliced in a new section of gxl wire with a new pigtail and rerouted wires exiting the loom at a better position.
Haven't had the jolting problem since, your solution may be different.

Thank you, I'll check into that. I got the new batteries but I'm having the same kind of problem where it's intermittent so I don't know if it fixed it or not. I have no hopes of the batteries fixing it, I just got tired of having to jump the truck if I let it sit for a day lol.

So far you have done everything I did and we have the same year 2005 truck. When I looked at the harness. I found the damaged portion near the IPC sensor at the location of the harness Y split that was smashing one of the 3 wires of the sensor connector.

Right where it splits off like a couple inces away from the ICP its self? I haven't got time to look into it thoroughly yet, hopefully I will tomorrow lol.

Well I had some time today to look at the wires. I cut open the shielding and right by the ICP looks good and everywhere that I was able to see appeared good. I pressed down on the connection and felt a little snap like it was half way plugged in but not fully. I'm still trying to maneuver my fat butt around to follow the rest of the wires today while I have time off but I'm hopeful that that snap was plugging it in fully. I doubt it but it's always nice to hope lol.
