I'm guessing the wrench was the oil cooler, but you can't know for sure without a monitor and watch ECT and EOT. I don't know what trips it, but I thing its 25° for 45 minutes. Just make sure you put some thought into what goes into bulletproofing, it goes from $1k for a stud only job (terrible idea) to an engine rebuild in excess of $10k, probably excessive.
It could be as simple as a temperature sensor. Could be an EBP sensor or a sticking turbo. Could even be simply a dirty EGR valve.
A 15 degree differential trips it (for a given speed and load condition that lasts for a certain amount of time). So does an overboost. So does a FICM low voltage or even a vehicle low voltage.
