Crown jewel of the week so far is the Red Head "Extreme Duty" steering gear. The stock gear is an impressive piece of hardware, but this thing looks and weighs like a beast. Hope it'll pay off when the wife is looking over her shoulder backing the rv that we don't have yet into a spot.
Ford used Warn hubs on these trucks OEM. Someone correct me if Im wrong.

But regardless of my accuracy there, you have a lot of nice items there giving me a solid case of envy. Looking good bud.

Huge shoutout to Oliver @ODAWG714 thanks for your help!

Spent the past 3 days wrestling with my new ODawgs Stage2 ported intake. Being new at this at first I thought it was the O-ring gasket not compressing, I tightened it a bit past recced torque and stopped when I saw there was still a big gap at the intake manifold. Searched high & low and finally found a clearance issue at the top of the coolant dome on the top oil cooler cover. Not sure if it's because of the new heads, new oil cooler cover or the intake, or all 3 but it didn't quite fit.

Called ODawgs and talked with Oliver who helped me with a resolution. The resolution scared the crap out of me, but he assured me they wouldn't void my warranty so I went for it. He said the casting is 3/16" there so grind yourself some clearance. This is my new $900 intake, but as the mrs. says, devil hates a coward so I fired up the die grinder..

Ground a little at a time and smeared the coolant dome with "liquid chalk", checked for fit, ground off where it touched and repeat X10. Now it fits! Thanks again Oliver!

Another big shoutout to Steve @Mishimoto !
I bought the MMRAD-F2D-03 radiator a couple months ago. I found out (only because I joined this forum) that there is a problem with that rad in exactly the application I'm doing this build for (towing heavy in the summer),and they have a replacement thicker walled unit MMRAD-F2D-60. Initially I was told if mine fails I could exchange it. I pointed out that it was almost guaranteed to fail in my application, and I didn't want it to be halfway up a mountain w/ the wife and puppy and trailer then deciding to take a dump. Steve said he'd run it past customer support. They called me today and said just send the -03 back and they'll send out a new one, I only cover shipping. That is what I call standing behind your product! Mishi will get all my cooling business from now on. Thanks Steve!

I think I've only seen one customer reporting towing issues with our -60 rad, and I believe they were having overheating issues before installing. If anybody else is having issues with the -60 rad, please feel free to shoot me a message or get a hold of our Customer Service team and we'll work to figure out what's going on.

Thanks!
-Steve

It's possible to have issues with almost anything, the important part is what kind of customer service you get if it happens. I'll be sure to keep my eye on the rad (and all my parts), but I'm more than satisfied at this point.

My garage is always closed up so I do not have too much of a worry about one getting in. I, like Mhatlan can not stand opossums. Flea ridden disease carrying giant rat sloths! Then again I do not like raccoons much either. Damn things with their little thieving hands can take the locking handles off the garbage can lid. I had one at a house years ago spread strawberry pie all over my back deck. Hell of a mess to clean up. Had another one get in to my smoker and steel my smoked trout. I may have been a little altered the next time I used the smoker because somehow I thought it was a smart idea to put in in my 1978 Chevy truck bed and close the shell to prevent the little robber from striking again. The goods in my smoker were safe from the raccoon but my shell smelled like smoked venison jerky forever afterward.
