Need Help: Part Identification 2003 6.0

Hello everyone I am new to the PSD world and I am looking for a part number or part identification.

I have a 2003 6.0 and I am looking for the O-Ring that goes on the High Pressure Fuel Rail Plug that uses a 6MM allen head. I see a smaller plug and then this larger one both on the top but I am having ZERO luck finding any names or even O rings for this plug I am in the process of a huge undertaking and I ran across another part that needs replaced. Thanks for any help.

IIRC Ford doesn't recommend replacing o-rings on these plugs. Take it to a local hydraulic shop and have them match it (viton would be a good material to use).

This is what I would have done but the current O-ring is destroyed. I am changing a injector on my truck and when I looked stuff over before I put valve cover back on I found that the O-ring that I am searching for was smushed out of the plug

It might help to post a pic of the oil rail location and the plug itself.

I have this part number for an oil rail test plug o-ring, but don't know the size:
3C3Z-9C064-BA
https://www.tascaparts.com/oem-parts...ng-3c3z9c064ba

The test plug itself is part # W302297, but I have a note that it comes w/ the dummy plugs (which is for the late 04's and up). I am not 100% that it is correct for your 03.

Maybe @fordsvtparts can help - or you can stop by a dealership and ask to see the parts (o-ring and plug) listed above.

The 3C3Z-9C064-BA is the correct O ring for the W302297. Since the plug is used on the later 2004-up oil rail, the Oring comes comes with the stand pipe kit.

I come up 03 fuel rail plug number of W300091 (smaller of the two), which also uses the 3C3Z-9C064-BA. The 3C3Z-9C064-AA is slightly larger. It's kind of a bad listing on our end, but the larger "AA" is shown as being used between the discharge tube and branch tube (03-04).

So I got the wrong O ring bought and installed?

Well...that's where are listings are not very good. There's a huge difference between these two numbers. You couldn't possibly use the wrong O ring. The 3C3Z-9C064-AA is on the left, 3C3Z-9C064-BA on the right.
