3.5 or 4 down pipe

Is a 3.5 down pipe versus a 4 down pipe going to make much of a difference on a completely stock truck? All Im looking for is a little lower EGT when I pull camper and a good sound. Im looking at a diamond eye 4 straight and a MBRP 4 straight.

Personally, I have had stock, 3.5 and 4 inch down pipes on a 2003 and I like the 3.5 the best for the sound and the fact that it fits unlike the 4 inch. I have heard that the 4 inch fits for other people but apparently not in my case. I noticed better turbo spool and lower egt with both the 3.5 and the 4 inch pipes.

The 4 inch downpipe was a diamond eye, and the 3.5 inch is an MBRP. The exhaust after the downpipe is 4 inch diamond eye no cat or muffler

The MBRP is a good system. The only reason I chose the diamond eye was because it was cheap.

Yes I forgot to mention that. I believe diamond eye and magnaflow are the only ones that make a 4 inch downpipe or maybe theres others.
