LOL when my wife called 911 she said "barn fire", that automatically triggered 4 or 5 fire departments, we had about 15 - 20 fire trucks and squads out front. Looking at the water damage when they left I think they all emptied their trucks, just for good measure.

(joke) So happy and thankful for all the local volunteer firefighters

Hey Bill, do you know anyplace to buy Takeuchi parts? gonna need the dash on the right, seat, right joystick and some hoses. Maybe the right track too

Tracks are easy, because of about 50 aftermarket companies. Check with United Rentals, as they are a Tak dealer. Even though I have owned Tak since about 2005, they are not well-represented on the West coast. I see tons lately, but donít know of any dealers. You can probably google dealers and likely have one near you. They have a strong presence on the east coast. It seems to be difficult to find any discount places, like with other brands. Ebay is where I usually start. But if insurance is gonna kick in, call a dealer for the best quality. Sorry to hear about the fire. That isnít something any of us want to deal with.

Insurance adjuster is cool, looks like I'm in good shape. If I fix the Tak myself they'll pay me $22 hr, plus I'll get that for the cleanup work too. They're cutting a check right away for the side by side and Jack's 4 wheeler. Told me to go ahead with fixing the building, then inventory everything as I fill the dumpster.

Dang @SparkyF250 I just got around to reading all this!! Good to hear your insurance is taking care of you! Nice, for once, to hear stories that someone actually benefits from an insurance claim instead of the other way around!

@john galt Pryaing for all!!

He was out today, he's cutting a quick check for the 4 wheeler and side by side. Told me to get started on the roof and start inventorying tools and lost supplies. He said if I can't get the excavator in for work or get a service truck out they'll pay me $22 hr to fix it myself. Pretty sure I'll fix it myself. Just hope I can find the parts that melted, dash, joystick, hoses, seat and possibly a track.

So happy the fire didn't get past it, my buddies Harley was sitting on the other side (I got mine out). Pretty sure he wouldn't have liked losing a 76 Super Glide, 6000 mile survivor bike. I want to talk him into selling it to me but I don't like Super Glides and I'd turn it into a Wide Glide. Since it's a true survivor I'd keep all the stock parts.
Oh and my Oxy/Acetylene rig was right next to that too.
The adjuster was happy I got everything I could out of there along with dragging the burning wheelers out. I was amazed hot freakin hot that thing burned, melted the aluminum wheels off. There was a trail of melted aluminum where I dragged it. The side by side was burning when I drove it out, just the hood and front tire but it burned to the ground too, I emptied a fire extinguisher on it to no effect. That bike was so hot it caught the roof and that's a good 15' above where it was at, unless the flames got that high when the gas tank went. Dunno it was fully involved by time I got down there, 10 more minutes and it would have been WAY worse.

@SparkyF250 , glad all is ok . I can hear the discussion next week while filling the bin , " what the heck is that .... and more importantly why did I have it ? " Good luck .
