Well battery charged for a few hours. Fired right up,drove to the parts store to get them tested. The driver side battery said needs charged. Came back home went to put a charge to it and noticed my terminal was app loosey goosey. So tightened it back up and put the charger to it. Once it's charged I'll go back for a test and see what it says.

I sat down and actually ran the numbers yesterday.

On average, my co-workers and I walk 7 miles during the course of a work day (12hr days). With our compressed work week schedule, we only work 14 days a month. So, in 1 month, we walk 98 miles, and in 1 year we walk 1176 miles!! And that's just on average - more often than not, we're well above that. And without even considering how much I walk outside of work, no wonder I'm so friggin' tired and ready for bed at 9pm LOL!

Oh, and my truck's been running fine for awhile now - I just don't want to jinx it or make anyone feel bad... LOL

Burnouts and WOT runs.

Oh wait, you said best way, not funnest way. If you're going to sump it, drill a hole centered on where the sump is going and let it drain. If you're draining it to replace the the pickup or level gauge, I'd recommend pulling the bed. Then you can siphon the fuel out if needed. I guess a lot of it depends on why you're needing to drain and the condition of the underside of the truck.
