I take it you run a generator? You pack in extra water for dishes etc?

actually i dont
but i am open to rectifying that upon our next meet up
I guess i will talk to justin about that.

i gotta get back out and try to do some more wood. got about a cord split and laying in the driveway
down to only 7 ore rounds to split then get the splitter over to a friends property and start hitting the tree we dropped over there
and i MIGHT have close to enough? at least if i can get out and slay a couple more little oaks to supliment things and get the diesel heater i bought set up and running

hopefully that SHOULD get us through the winter so long as it isn't another strangely cold and long winter...

then i can try to tear into the truck before it gets too damn cold ...
its always something

I have 2 little Champion 2K inverter generators but I usually only take one to charge the batteries. Made the whole trip on one tank of gas. I think the freshwater tank is around 40 gallons and I took ~20 gallons in containers. We didn't run out, which is amazing with a wife and 2 teenage daughters.

It is a miracle 60 gallons for a weekend. That's why I asked. We've never done any off grid camping. Not sure I could talk the wife into it either.lol.

It's taken me 20 years of marriage to get the wife to the point where she doesn't use tons of water. We have a pretty good system now.

Lol. My wife likes a flushing toliet. I'm not sure how big our tank is on our new camper. But the old one's water didn't last near long enough.
