coud be time to play bend the pins in the obd2 cnnectors ever so slightly but be careful when you do.
havent had to do that since forever ago but my old truck the connectors were a tad tweaked and my old scanner the pins were a tad tweaked.

Is it still under warranty? If not, find an electronics repair place and have them fix the loose connection.

If it is under warranty, or you have SCT fix it, make sure they don't update it if it's an older unit. It'll take away the EGR delete stuff

Let them know the cord is bad, they should replace.

That was the plan.. but we requested to move homes it was denied they started requiring us to work 6 hours on each day off.

I was not seeing eye to eye with my multiple supervisors could not risk them sending me back to my previous location.

Took a shot in the dark for Louisville Airport (SDF) and got it. SDF a pretty hard location to get in my line of work. Abu Dhabi is easier to get then SDF.
