I was doing the exact same thing that I was doing 18 yrs ago. Home doing morning chores while my wife was at the fair getting ready to show. Only difference was that year she was showing our draft horses and this year she was helping Jack get his goats ready for show.
Oh yeah one other difference, our horses took 1st & 2nd and grand champion, Jack took 5th

I was at work in Burton Tx. when the first one hit. I just got on the road to Brenham Tx. when the second one hit. When we got there dispatch said we were to lock ourselves in and don't do any work until further notice. We sat in our trucks glued to the radio. After an hour we were sent home to spend time with our families.

I was 3 and a half years old, I'm not sure if I was in pre school or not so I was either with my parents or grand parents or at school. I don't have any memories from 9/11 besides writing a few study papers on the events later on in school and watching my grandpa go out every morning of 9/11 to put out our flag and salute it (he was not part of the first responders, he was just 20 years air force and supports our troops and first responders heavily).

Don't want to de-rail the conversation here but I do have a quick question. I got an alignment some time ago and they told me that I have 2 different caster cams / shims on my upper ball joints. My drivers side was able to be correctly aligned and has a round caster cam but the passenger side has the multi sided one and is not correctly aligned. My truck is on a 4.5" lift with 35's, does anyone have a part number to the other caster cam I need? Firestone said they'd do it for $200 but it looks like they are cheap and I have the lifetime alignment so I'd rather do it myself but I'm not sure what part is the right part.

The cams come in differing degrees to correct the geometry. They're about $25 each last I knew. But you'd have to know what degree you're looking for. I thought rock auto had them

Hello gents , I need some advice on something . If I were to purchase a half dozen plastic jerry cans ( yellow diesel ) and fill them with fuel , would the fuel store for any length of time ? any additives ? cold dark storage ? Your suggestions would be appreciated .
And yes , I searched it and read a lot of great articles but I like to get my up to date info from this forum as we
all drive the same trucks ( motors ) and I trust the wide knowledge base on here .

I donít have a problem using diesel that is one or two years old. Just make sure there isnít any algae or anything growing in it. Someone with more knowledge than me may chime in, but I havenít had a problem ever.

I don't think diesel breaks down anywhere near as fast as unleaded
If i was going to store it for an extended period of time I would add a biocide to keep the algae away

Fill as full as possible only leave just enough air for expansion. The less air the less chance for condensation (same as your truck tank) Stabil for Diesel or a good biocide and it'll last a long time.

Yes.

"What is diesel fuel algae ? There are actually different types of diesel algae, aka diesel bacteria. The most common species happily nest right in the space between water and the diesel fuel in your diesel tank. ... Diesel algae reproduce by multiplying themselves, so they can rapidly grow in number."
