I'm looking for one for Jack to drive to school. Prefer a 5 speed and has to be 4x4, if anyone within a few hundred miles of E Ohio knows of one. Oh yeah under $2k

His 7.3 is pretty clean and rust free for a 91, hate for him to drive it in the salt

Mine's a 92. Was my dad's. It's been a good little run around truck. I need to do a tune up on it. It just turned 100k. I did develop a vibration in the paste couple months I need to track down. Had 1 tire that all of a sudden came way out of balance. Gonna have the others checked then go from there. I think my left rear brake hangs up sometimes too. But all in all its been good to me.

When my dad's 1st got it. He bought it from my neighbor's in Spokane. They had just had about $2,500 worth of stuff done to it, clutch tune up, etc. Then a few months later it overheated and the shop quoted them another $1,800 for heads. It has the 3.0, they're notorious for cracking if overheated. So they said screw it and bought another newer ranger. I had my dad get it, figured worst case we'd stuff a 302 in it. He paid $200 for it

He got it home and took it for a test drive, trailered it from Spokane, 170 miles. He noticed the temp gauge quivered a bit when it got to 'hot' then went back to normal. He went to town, bought a $6 thermostat and the truck has been great ever since.

That salt pisses me off honestly. Those guys are dumping around 4 tons per mile per lane !
That’s done constantly when the snow flys. That salt shlt doesn’t just disappear into thin air it’s ALL right there along the roads and water tributaries that move some of it that way.

Damn that F-ing up who knows how many life forms and creatures with every right to be here as you and I. Minus the rats & snakes.
It’s bad medicine people. I say F that shlt you need to take a drive slow your happy azz down or chain up or hoof it!!
Or pick up you blocks and move on.

I can’t believe that environmental devastating craziness is allowed. The sheer volume that’s just dumped blows me away.

Ok got that out in the open and off my chest. Wheeeeew.

Oh yea can’t forget trying to dump some guilt on someone:
Shame on you fellers in the salt dumping states, it’s all your fault.

I think I need to start smoking the devils weed. Debbie Downers maybe.

Washington uses mag-chloride, which is way worse than salt. It is the corrosive by-product of de-salination.

They say it's not corrosive though, yeah right. I worked at a truck shop that did maintenance on the spray trucks in Spokane, they were the worst for rot any where that stuff touched
