Id say check the batts, and maybe change if u dont know the age. Batt volts could be low when first started till the computer kicks in the alternator, but then would climb. I never see 14+ in either truck with know good alternators. But thats on either the scan gauge or a x4. 13.5v or so after 10 mins or so of driving. Depends on how long its been sitting. I fired up the 03 after sitting for 3 weeks. X4 showed 11v once i started it, then up to 13 after alt kicked in. High idle for 10 mins brought it steady to 13.8v. Hope that helps. If not i dunno.

I may to modify my sig. I use my phone so I dont see them. Dont even remeber what they are. But they r staying. Lol. Too soon? Lol

When Jeff got banned, everyone was like ok, makes sense. Wonder why it hadn't already happened?

Today was a bit different with our reactions

with a kid in back you are limited to turning the sound down back there to where it doesnt really matter anyways

what did you use in the back? i had a set of pioneer tens with bypassed tweets that sounded great...left them in a closet because i needed to mod the housing to get them behind the back seat...
and mice ate them
my luck remains solid at least
so i am probably just going to replace the pilar speakers with something a tad better. someone recommended a 6x9 kicker for those if i remember and i should probably talk to @mhatlen as he is kinda the resident stereo guru but i dont need a system anything like what he can design so he would be wasted on my truck...
i will likely get a set of subs and use the pioneer crosses and build something that fits behind the back seat at some point but bigger fish and all that

i heard good things about that stuff too but i dont remember from who and it was probably a couple years ago or more so
any good synth oil should do you fine it is more important to change it on time than be brand specific i believe especially with heui injection

in other news got call from my daughter that her water pump went out in her little jeep...
man i cant wait to work on my truck agin now after trying to fit my man hands into that little ^#$($%#[email protected]&$% jeep
i have no skin left on my knuckles from trying to get to bolts that are up against the damn radiator in that thing there is just NO room to fit anything
As far as my input for what to do with the rear pillars: I’d just throw in a set of coaxial’s. Its absolutely pointless to spend money on a quality set since they are smothered out by the rear seat. A lot like a pillow on the wife’s mouth when she puts us in our place, you won’t hear anything you can make sense of.
You will get some FILL sound out of those pillar speakers nothing more. I spent probably 20 hours modifying my rear doors to accept 7” component woofers and 1-3/16” tweeters in door panels just forward of the lower seat.

The putz with Ford that signed off on that rear pillar location hopefully’s been hit by a train by now.
