My cousin was driving and wanted to stop to eat or something and I told him bull crap, look but that wall of darkness that's headed our way. I started driving and hauled arse trying to outrun it. It flanked us for a half hour or so with rain but we missed the bad part. It looked like it was a black wall at least 50 miles wide. I think it produced some funnel clouds too. Anyway, all that to say we were in a pickup and it still scared the crap out of me 🙂
I saw this a couple weeks ago on my way to get some 4x8x6" foam insulation for my shop. You can clearly see the funnel. I was wondering if I should keep going but I was kinda going due east and it was just a bit south/east. The car in front of me wasn't taking a chance as he pulled over.
I put 50 sheets on my GN, it wasn't heavy but it was a huge air damn. If I let it drop in OD the EGT's got hotter than I liked. At first I wondered what was beeping then I looked at the flashing EGT on the CTS2 telling me it was 1250*

I'm not out of the diesel world tho but I did end up going to the dark side. I picked up this 06 ram 3500 4x4 for a real good price.

Don't worry I'll still be around the forums. I consider y'all friends. And just cause I got a different truck doesn't mean I'm gonna ditch y'all.
Well if you do move back to Ohio, Firepunk and their engine shop D&J Machine are up here. I stopped in D&J one day just to check em out. I spent 20+ years in a machine shop, they looked pretty good. I found them on google as a diesel machine shop, but all they do is Fummins

If you ever go for a week long bike ride, don't forget your rain gear. Just got back from Glacier Park last night. On the way up there hit a nice thunderstorm in eastern Washington on Hwy 20 between Tiger and Newport. Luckily there was a Casino about halfway through where we were able to stop and have some coffee. The thunder and lightning finally quit, but it never blew over. We had to ride another 20 miles to get out of the downpour.

that first pic reminds me of my first serious backpacking trip out for a week second day unexpected storm came in. one of my old buddies has a pic of me from about 20 feet away and i can barley be seen in the fog... only its rain...
we got SO soaked i still had wet stuff after 5 days of sun in the back country after wards.

It was nice knowing you guys. Don't be surprised if I get banned or at least this post is removed. Guess I'll have to look you up on fascistbook.

Patriot says two-year ban. To me... the conversation was just getting started. 0-60 in record time.
