I hate to be the one to break this to you, but there will be something that takes that engine out LONG before your choice of oil

Why you say so....took all the egr off, not just blocked-OFF, threw the exhaust away, new rockers and bridges, straight pipe exhaust, CAI, tunes, front cover changed......all at 85k.....runs well, pulls well. 4.88 gears, new built 5r110 w billet shafts, good clutches, all new solenoids, 3 clutch converter. All new hoses, thermostats, sensors, etc. Around 154k at the moment. Religious w oil/fuel filters etc. Im thinking it will go for awhile....lifters are the only thing that worry me....turbos to rebuild at some point. Oil/coolant temps within 5 deg even when pulling.

Out of respect to the forum and its members, I'll refrain from any further comments in that thread, but I had to vent somewhere. Maybe I've been here too long and I've become jaded. Please tell me I'm not turning into @Heavy_GD .
What a dick. Lol

I just popped back into the forum and was surprised to see all the new posts on subjects that had already been beat to death. Maybe it’s the search function? Maybe it’s just people not wanting to use the search function? IDK. I’m sure I’m guilty of asking questions that have already been beat to death.

I have also asked a couple questions and gotten crickets so, I guess, I can sorta see the other posters panic.

Posting to his original thread and bumping it to the top is what somebody, who knows what a thermostat does, would do.

Too bad part of it is gone and the other threads are too. Looks like the OP just kept making new threads. Just another person posting on forums looking for an answer that they won't get. Either because the answer they want to hear isn't the answer to their problem. Or they caused their own probem and don't want to believe it.

I got a bit annoyed by his starting from the beginning every time someone asked for any details. Fourteen paragraphs of redundancy, hahaha And Dexter’s a jerk, haha
