North is the short part, its the 3000 mile trek east that's the killer.

Put a set all around the wife's Explorer last summer. So far so good.

I need rear calipers on the KR, my R rear is dragging, thinking about Power Stops but they're rebuilt, then I saw these on Parts Geek, they're new Raybestos, not sure which way to go... (top 2 are new) (crap now only showing stock on the right )

Oh glorious day. Inspection from ATF again for tobacco. This is now the 3rd inspection I've had after not having one at all for 5 years. They have learned this time that I'm a real life prick. They were only here for about 15min.

As soon as they walk in i greet them with, "oh God you ****ers again."

Just so we can make sure to set the tone right. And continue to heckle them heavily so they pick up the pace. The chick is a rag head so I make sure to throw in a few strongly worded rag head comments. It's very clear I do not like them, and I think they are getting the memo because each inspection is less thorough and more expedited.

They come check the invoices and scan the tax codes on the packs of cigarettes to make sure you arent bringing them from out of state or the rez. Basically looking for tax evasion. Random is the only way they do it..otherwise it wouldn't be nearly as effective lol.
Its routine stuff, but it is seriously frustrating and intrusive. They treat you like a damn criminal and they make you pull 2 years worth of invoices. So today's question was, what if you guys weren't so lucky each time to see me? What If an employee was here. They said well they would have to call you and youd have to come in. I said ok, I'm in Santa Cruz for a week. Then what.
I get so tired of all of these agencies up my *** here all the time. That brings it to number 5 in the last 15 days. 5 different agencies with their hand out and anal probe ready. But I dont have to kiss their ***. They have nothing to fine me for. So I make sure their visit is as unpleasant as possible.
If the tables were turned and these leaches of overlapping regulatory department employees had to go what we go through, theyd understand. I dont like them, I think their jobs are worthless and they know that. All this can be done electronically through invoice and sales tracking. Extremely wasteful from a financial aspect, and extremely frustrating as an owner to deal with these agencies constantly.
