Whines like it's killing him to stop what he's doing to do a favor (but he'll do it) But he has the absolute nicest bikes, and trucks. Now he will help his friends and stuff. I rebuilt my Panhead completely in his shop and even got him to paint it (of course I had to do all the sanding)

But he ALWAYS complains about being broke. Kinda like you.

See my response above.

That right there is the one thing I really don't like about Trump. If he opens up trade and drops most of the tariffs next yr before the election, the already smoking economy will freakin explode! And he'll cruise right into 4 more years. It'll be so damn much fun watching the marxist left totally melt down.

Oh yeah and on the subject of tariffs or taxes as they should be called. I'm so freakin glad we elected Republican'ts in Ohio last year. Our new Rino governor wanted to raise fuel taxes, for the roads ya know. We have GOP house and senate in OH and they just passed like .10 on gas and .19 cents on diesel. Yeah, way to go guys.
I am tighter than a gnats *** that's for sure. And I do always say I'm broke as well lol.

As for doing anything for anyone, i have a major, major problem with that. I help everyone at the drop of a dime. And I usually end up being in the bad spot as a result. I ended up with my truck in a tree the other night helping a friend to be specific.
And also with this Harley truck, helping a friend I believe after I will no longer associate with who I thought was a good dude for years.
I'm at a major turning point in life because of that and have been for the last couple years or so. I give give give to everyone who surrounds me and they take take take. Extremely frustrated and disappointed

At first I was talking about saving the bolt. Looks like I will have to break it now

Yeah I didn't say he do for "anyone" he'll do for his close friends.

Otherwise it ends up like you said, they just take take take. Kinda sad ain't it?

Oh yeah, and he's a perfectionist when it comes to bikes. Everything he puts out is super high quality. Hell 20 yrs ago we were balancing flywheels, replacing bronze valve seats in the older shovels and pans. I did quite a bit up there in his early days back when I made my living as a machinist. (now I just lose money as a farmer) About the time I was moving down here he was finishing his addition and setting up his new dynamometer. I'll bet he's better equipped than most factory Harley dealerships. And I'd trust his work 1000% more than the run of the mill help at the dealerships.
Anyone in the east side of Ohio or western PA you won't find a better shop.

I've met that guy too.
I just dropped my bike at c&e v twin to have the new rear wheel swapped on and the shift shaft seal replaced.
Not a harley dealer. I hear great things however about folsom harley and it is right down the road from me, but we've discussed how I feel about the dealer.
I'll take a good independent any day. They even offered to pick up and drop off at my store because they like to make that relationship with local business people.

I think this is a common denominator with us guys here on the 6.0 threads. I also suffer from this.
