Those of you running the LN 230 alternator, are you running the stock pully? underdrive pully? Can you use the stock belt?

I am using the stock pulley and the stock belt. Even with the glow plugs on, I don't see a drop in voltage.

As far as charging cordless tools, a little two or three hundred milliwatt inverter is plenty. I am running the leece Neville alternator with the overdrive pulley and the stock belt. No issues

Running a parts store special lol plus I will be installing a few other things like on hiatus air and quick disconnect jumper cables wanna put a 220 or better alt on here

I was watching my voltage on the torque app while running my winch Cable in. Now granted I wasn't much more than free spooling(. Dragging the truck with about three klicks of park brake) but on idle that Ln alternator the voltage never fluctuated. That's what a big alternator and an overdrive pulley can do for you. On cold mornings, you can hear when the glow plugs actually shut off because the engine runs noticeably easier as the load decreases

Lot's to be said for having a spare.

You're just like a good friend of mine who owns a aftermarket Harley motorcycle shop. So tight he squeaks, he can pinch a penny so tight he has He's been known to forget his wallet when going out to eat. Once and awhile he might forget he borrowed something. Whines like it's killing him to stop what he's doing to do a favor (but he'll do it) But he has the absolute nicest bikes, and trucks. Now he will help his friends and stuff. I rebuilt my Panhead completely in his shop and even got him to paint it (of course I had to do all the sanding)

That right there is the one thing I really don't like about Trump. If he opens up trade and drops most of the tariffs next yr before the election, the already smoking economy will freakin explode! Oh yeah and on the subject of tariffs or taxes as they should be called. I'm so freakin glad we elected Republican'ts in Ohio last year. Our new Rino governor wanted to raise fuel taxes, for the roads ya know. We have GOP house and senate in OH and they just passed like .10 on gas and .19 cents on diesel. Yeah, way to go guys.
