Yes they would like you to believe that, but it's not been approved by Ford. I think it was only last year that T6 CK4 was approved. I may be wrong and even T6 may need the zddp added. I don't remember now but there is a list somewhere of all the Ford approved CK4 oils.
Now does it really matter in the great scheme of things? Maybe not. I suppose it depends on how long you plan on having the truck and how many potential repairs you mind doing. I would think the injection system would suffer before anything else.
For me I've been using T6 in all my diesels since my flame truck with the 7.3 and it's always been good for me. Will I have either of my 6.0's long enough to see an issue directly related to the oil? Probably not. In fact the 03 might be leaving this weekend. Buddy of mine has a guy working for him that "really wants it" he said so we will see.
