I went out driving alittle today. I think I may take on a big project once I get that ADU and garage built with the lift.

Roads are pretty bad here in Portland. Some roads look like swiss cheese with all the pot holes. My truck is so stiff suspension wise with that 8inch Pro Comp XXX lift, that I feel every stinkin one of those potholes.

I think I'm going to design a new suspension system. I'll have the same shop I used for the bumpers to laser cut and bend the steel.

I'm thinkin maybe a 4-link in the back with some heavy duty coil overs (King?) And maybe a 3 or 4-link up front with same shocks. Redo the axles with high steer and new set-up for the steering.

Now, I know that coil overs don't allow much weight in the bed, like leaf springs do. I'll do some more research and see what I can figure out.

This will be a slow build, and the truck may be out of commission for awhile, as I slowly design and build it.

I'll start my own thread when I start, but will be awhile. I need to build the ADU and garage first.....come on PowerBall!

2007 F250 Crew Cab Lariat 4x4. Lots of upgrades, but not enough. It's tall, too tall. Yes, I'm obviously compensating for something.

UPGRADES:
EGR Delete, RedHead Steering Gear, Blue Spring Upgrade, ARP Studs, (Let's not mention this manufacturers name) Coolant Filter, (Let's not mention this manufacturers name) Blue Intercooler Pipe and Elbow Upgrade, Cold Air Intake, One-Up Offroad Traction Bars, XD Wheels and Nitto Ridge Grappler 37" Tires, LED Lights all around, 2013 Tailgate, 2008+ Power Mirrors, Pro-Comp XXX Dual Front Coilover Suspension, Custom Bedliner Sprayed Rocker Panels and Fender Flares, Amerihood Tpe E-Style Ram Air/Heat Extraction Hood, CompuStar Alarm with Remote Windows, Remote Start, and much more!
More upgrades to come, including Singer Alternator, and other engine upgrades.

NEW Custom Bumpers with Tire Carrier! Dual Winches!

Zinc. The newer Ck4 has a lower level of it, as it's being reduced in blends to meet ever tightening emissions. Zinc is bad for catylicitc converters, hence the removal. Our trucks were designed for higher levels of zinc for lubrcity purposes. So adding bottles of zddp (zinc) manually raises the levels back to appropriate

That I do not know. I am new to this as I had a bunch of cj4 because like I said I stockpile on deals, and I know they are not making the new stuff any better for our diesels, that's a given.
I think it was g8orford who turned me on to the zinc supplement. I buy it on Amazon for $40/6pk and add 2 bottles per change. But who knows, I may fall off this gangbang too just like the archoil lol
