Wow, I don't feel near as bad about what I spent on my 35x12.5x18 Ridge Grapplers

Those 37x13.5x22's are $439 each retail through Ford

You know. When I bought my tires and wheels for $3500, the only thing I was thinking at the time was, 'this is crazy! I could buy a decent used car for that!'

Not sure. I know the majority of tires out there are made over seas.

However, i think alot of the rubber is made here. I picked up a load once from a Michelin factory. Something like 20 pallets of engineered rubber sheets. I cant remember where i delivered them though. But i remember that where i picked them up from, there was quite a few rubber tree farms.

That doesn't mean anything.

Patriot tires were branded made in USA by the Diesel Brothers. Turns out they were made and shipped over from China.

All they have to do is maybe put a coating on the inside of the tire or something, and then they can say it's made in USA.

Toyo and Nitto are part of the same corporation IIRC. They are a Japanese company, but have a US subsidiary with a manufacturing base in Georgia. As a global company they probably make tires in various countries. I think they have subs in China, Australia, and Canada also. Best guess is that most sold in US are probably made here. I'd go look on my truck, but it is in the shop still. Hope to get it back today.

Nothing is truly made in the usa, except for maybe your vegetables you grow in your garden.

Some form of any product that is for sale out there, will have something made from another country.
