Talked to super crew sound. They CAN build it, BUT I will not be able to tilt the seat he said. I missed the call and listened to the voicemail. I'll call them back tomorrow with my solution. If the woofers are behind the seat, I don't see a reason to need to tilt the set forward for anything, unless theres an issue with the woofer. Which in that case it's only a few bolts to remove the rear bench and I'm ok with that If anything needs servicing. So we'll see what he says to that.

Started building my hobo coolant pressure tester. And also got the things needed to build my intake leak tester. Waiting on one fitting for the pressure tester and then I'll test that.

I'll check for leaks tonight after I get off work. That's if I even go to work today

Total spent $49 way cheaper than the other stuff online.

I'm really hoping I dont have a head gasket issue. I gotta tow a Nova this weekend

Since you don't have kids and not really hauling anybody in the back why don't you just re drill the mounts or use those brackets and move the seat forward a few inches then you'll have plenty of room

Found my boost leak and I'm betting the source if my weird boost sound.

The o ring in my rebuild kit didnt seal right. I thought it was kinda small compared to the old one. Gonna order a new OEM oring now. Funny this thing still made 29 lbs of boost

I dont really want to mess with anything like that safety wise. I'll just order 2 JL tw5 or 2 Rockford T1S2 and sell these or put them in my Cummins I guess

What brackets do you speak of

I have this box with Kicker Comp RT dvc 10" subs. Just had to trim the back panel a for it to fit. It goes between the cab vents so you don't have to remove them. The subs barely touch on the back of the seat when it hits hard. Stereo shop in Boise gets them built in SLC and sells them for $100. Won't help with your deeper subs but if you don't want to hassle with the seat then get a shallow box and subs.

I don't think it makes it unsafe moving the seat, but I could be wrong. When I was debating which box to go with, I looked at the seat and it seemed you could unbolt the seat from the frame and move it forward. Frame stays mounted to the cab in the same place. I chose not to move the seat because I have kids to fit in the back. But I also have a bench in this truck. My 04 is split and that would be more of a pain.

Sound Depot in Boise, ID

http://sounddepotboise.com

They had black in stock but I wanted tan, so they ordered me one then a guy sold it out from under me by mistake. So they had another one dropped shipped to me. I'm sure they can do the same for ya. This was over a year ago so don't know if the price has increased or not.
