So, I've had to take my truck up 2 additional times, after the install of the alarm. It was setting false alarms every 5-10 minutes. I think they fixed it this time. He said he had to tie into the dome light for the door trigger and set a 45 second delay before arming.
He said for some reason, when wired to the door pins, it was bypassing the diodes and setting it off.
Damn! These trucks are temper mental.
Now with that all fixed, now I can work on wiring up the custom circuit I made that will cut the FICM off, but still allow the remote start to work.
When the weather gets better, I will go out and work on that. I just have to figure out how to open that fuse block so I can cut and splice the wires that go to the coil side of the FICM relay so that circuit can interrupt it.
