So I pulled the Fox's off the rear of this harley. And I went to put them on my truck, and it appears the upper shock mount thickness has a larger diameter stud on my 350. Are the rear upper shock mounts different between a 250 and 350? I can understand it for a higher payload rating, but I dont see Ford doing that

But. Other progress today. Got pretty much the rest of the parts from the truck I'll be keeping and getting them sent off to powder coat.

4 link arms, coilover hoops, coilover springs and all other associated black parts and mag hytec covers will go to match my lollipop red.
Pulled the rear shocks and the harley pedals and badges.

Now all I need is the dash, front pillars and grab handles.

the shock mounts do not vary between 350 and 250 trucks

shocks do not carry the load so the bolt size does not need to be beefed up for the larger capacity 350

But I wonder what the deal is with these trucks. Lots of people say they have the same issue with fitment. Maybe I'll give weathertech a call. Mine are about 4 years old so maybe they corrected the problem, but they never have fit worth a damn from day 1

I hit up weathertech on social media about the crap fit ( the back is just a joke and the front si just a little better) in my 6.0 and they were like ohh no one ever has issues no one complains about the fit

and acted like mine was an anomaly and i could read right thru their BS
i think the dude doing the laser fitment was drunk

anyone have any luck getting the up pipe on the passenger side out without pulling the turbo? it doesnt have the EGR on it, its an aftermarket one that is leaking on mine. im putting my stock 04 one on it again with the block off disc on it. if i dont have to pull the turbo great. if i do oh well it wasnt that bad to pull of anyway.
