I'm looking to buy a parts truck, something that I can get an engine and transmission core out of, but not so ratty I can't ever make a running if ugly truck out of it again. Eventual plan for next phase of my dually project is a new rebuilt engine and trans, but the ones in my truck now are pretty solid and new heads on the motor, so want to buy a parts truck, send the cores from that, put new ones in my dually and the engine and tranny in it now to the parts donor.

I found this one for sale, anybody like to estimate what value they'd put on this 07 with a valve cover off and standpipe on the battery tray and a tree branch on it. says it dented the hood, roof, bed and broke window. Pics below.

That's crazy good mileage. I've owned several Cummins pickups and they've all been around 10-13mpg with that kind of weight.

I used to get called hillbilly, or redneck, or country bumpkin, etc. relatively often down here, before I got sick. I don't go out a lot anymore, so it doesn't happen regulary, but it still does. I just say thank you.

Hi guys.

So, how's this look so far, for my 'Big 3' I'm doing? There's just no where under that damn hood to put fuse blocks, so figured this should work. I'll have a plexiglass cover over it all too, to help protect it. I'll make that tomorrow.

I'll have 500A, to connect the two batteries, then 500A for the alternator to battery, and then 150 A for Fuse Block for all the lights, and then 250A for the stereo. Then maybe a 250A for the inverter.
