@john galt , happy 25th anniversary to you and the obviously incredibly patient or somewhat challenged lady that has put up with you for that long.

^^I say that because my master, uh umm, uh, wife has legally put up with me for 28 years as of June 30th, so I know of what I speak. Truthfully, it's been over 30, but she didn't own me for the first few years. <<<<<LIE!

@ZMANN @junior125 @Heavy_GD , @everyone else , I am both warning you and apologizing in advance for tonight. It's been a long very hot day and I have had a beer or twelve and may go off topic.

Perseids should be peaking right about now, right? How's that for a anniversary show!!! Talk about perfect timing. That comet is Swift/Tuttle. Yeah, I used to be into telescopes and astronomy back in the day. As for people that don't like meteor showers, I guess they'd prefer to be sleeping at 2 am, rather than laying on the hood of your truck watching a most amazing natural light show spectacular.

A lot of people complain that it's too noisy but I (being the young ignorant kid that I am) love it! It makes my truck go from sounding like a 747 to a semi. My only complaint is it dropped fuel economy a bit more than expected but oh well.

Also for all you King Ranch guys, I'm still on the hunt for a good conditioner for these seats. I've tried everything from the actual King Ranch conditioner to Lexol to mink oil, to some boot cream probably made in the 70's to generic leather care products, etc. etc. Well it's that time of year again where I'll be conditioning the seats every other week and I remember last year that boot cream lasted a long time but I'd never do it again because getting it out of the seams was a PITA. I figured maybe boot or saddle care products were going to be my best bet since it is a raw leather so I picked this stuff up today.

Usually when applying anything you can feel it get absorbed and then within an hour it feels dry again and the only thing that happened is the color changed. With this I can feel it absorb but it doesn't dry out as fast, usually when I do the entire interior and I go over with a microfiber to dry everything, everything is already dry and I really do nothing but with this it actually stayed wet and I had to buff it dry. Gives me high hopes for this!
I used Leatherique on my KR seats, it's a process but so far it's the best I've found. 2 step system, you start with the their Rejuvinator let it sit closed up so it'll be hot inside (in the sun) for as long as you can, a full day or even two then use their Pristine Clean. It's good stuff. Home Page | Leatherique Restoration Products

https://www.google.com/search?q=leat...hrome&ie=UTF-8

Here's their 16 oz kit, that's what I bought, and after doing my whole truck twice I'm almost out of Rejuvinator but I have half a bottle of Pristine Clean left. So, there's that.. LEATHERIQUE LTD - Detail

We were up in Canada one year and had my boat tied up at the dock by our cabin. We were going down to lay in the boat and watch the Persieds, I was there first and then I heard the rocks shift, a thud and a rather loud moan, my wife went down hard! I'm thinking Oh chit we're prolly an hour or more from a hospital. Turned out she sprained both ankles, kinda messed up the rest of the vacation for her (I just went fishing everyday) That was about 20 yrs ago and her ankles still bother her at times. She doesn't seem to care much about watching them anymore.

Just spent an hour or so over in the pre 2017 6.7 forum. It speaks volumes that a forum supporting an engine that is current and has now been in service for 7 years has less than 20% of the total posts that the 6.0 forum has. The 6.0 was only produced in significant numbers for 5 years (I know the vans kept it until 2010).

Somebody talk me down. I'm really considering that 2015 Lariat I looked at yesterday. Then again, I may not need ya'll to talk me out of it, if I go that far, the finance company will probably do that.
