So crappier light output where you really need it. Even on the open road up here we probably have head traffic 75% of the time so don't get much high beam time. I'd give that a thumbs down myself. I couldn't give a crap how it makes my truck look or how sexy someone thinks it is if it doesn't put light where I need it it's garbage

I believe I got the same headlights as @RedFord . Maybe not from the same vendor though. I did get the HID upgrade. No comparison to stock low beams. Tons better. I still need to do a little more adjusting. They point a little too much into incoming traffic for me. It's evidently not too bad, I've only been flashed once, but I'd prefer to move them a little too the right just the same.

The overall appearance looks good. But I would have to agree that if the light output is less then I would regret them.

With a lifted truck itís always difficult to get a good amount of light out on the ground without over doing it and having people constantly flash their lights. I went with one of the vendors here lifetime leds I think is was. They arenít cheap I think it was around $300 a pair of bulbs. But the output is be far the best Iíve ever had. Had a few who flash their lights til I hit my brights. One guy followed me to the store to ask about them.

Unfortunately those pictures are on my computer at the house and I wonít be home for a couple months. But if I remember around that time I can post some stock vs led pictures then.

in tahoe i used to get cut off at about every intersection,
the best was when i was driving the suburbal hematoma...
old 73 ex millitary suburban in woodland camo
they all figured if they cut me off it was 50/50 weather i didnt bother with the brakes or they failed and drove right through them anyways
i had one guy in a brand new truck with paper plate pull out in front of me close enough i could see him check his mirror see what he had pulled out in front of and watch his eyes get the size of saucers as he pulled over to let me go by

i went with cheap leds (the ones Wes had in his ex) but the output is astounding i still need to tweak how they are mounted but they are times brighter than my stock halogens were and no super cut off which is key here in the mountains
would make excellent fog lights in a blizard so i may run projector fogs at some point
if i ever get them set up right i will grab some pics

Surprised I didnít have to clock mine any if at all. Lowered the beam quite a bit. Even measured out from a wall, still had to lower them so more. Ended up just parking my exís car in the road then parked about 15í behind and lowered til they werenít hitting her rear view mirror and called it good.

Mine donít have that hard line though. And I like that. But most less and hids do.

12 hours today to unload 5 trucks. a whopping 8 pallets total...

That meant I got to spend time working on the truck in the parking lot so I decided this was the best place to check my beams on the headlights since I'm at an actual store front at 3 am and WOW did they need to be adjusted up. Perhaps that's where the visibility issue for me was, we'll see tomorrow morning.
