I was using FASS as an example of pricing and different options with the pump itself, like performance isnít that far off and itís literally a few extra bucks to get the best that they sell. So why not get the best they sell?

But Iíve been looking into the Martyís fuel pump with a A1000 marine pump. I like that setup. But the price is roughly around $1,500. Thatís not to include the ~$500 regulated return. 2003-2007 Ford 6.0L V2 FueLab Complete Fuel System $1,475. - Marty's Diesel Performance

I still have time to look around but there ainít much out there from companies. Thereís pretty much only 2 that really pop up with a custom style 3rd. Fass, airdog, and Aeromotive fuel pump setup up in a custom configuration. Considering Fass and airdog are cousin companies they are pretty much the exact same thing. Like Chevy and gmc.

I ran an Aeromotive fuel pump in my 71 Plymouth duster when I used to drag race with my father way back in the day. That was my high school car. I know they are good and never had any issues.

But to run the 6.7 pump it seems like a lot of scrounging for parts and piecing everything together, the initial cost is right around the initial cost of a Fass setup in a kit. Plus from what I have read the 6.7 canít feed 190 or 205ís. I donít want to setup one setup to have to replace it with another because it canít feed the end goal injectors.

Huge mystery as I try to figure out what's been done by previous owner.

No wonder we have 29579 posts in 2 years, we had 157 on the first day. Mostly from the CCR until the MPA guys stumbled in

We've covered a lot of ground, just look at the Tags, peanut butter, over spray, turbo farts, and whistling bungholes. Oh yeah, and John Galt

I finally got a new grill and emblem. The bubbling chrome has always annoyed me since I bought the truck. I'd rather the King Ranch emblem, but it was just a super thick sticker so I could still see the ford logo beneath it and it was the wrong color scheme. The new grill makes me happy and the emblem matches the color scheme of the truck more than the old one. Hopefully headlights will come in tomorrow. I'll premise that by saying I got an E-mail 2 days ago saying they were on back order and I got a text from fed ex reminding me that I have a package I need to sign for tomorrow. Either I get my headlights or I did some late night ordering I forgot about, both could be possible.

Got my truck back from the mechanic, with the rad Tank Wash tote, a new pigtail on the turbo actuator both wires are right next to the plug on the old one new pigtail and on I think the ICP or one of the other sensors. Truck is sounding pretty smooth and the mileage numbers are going up quite quickly as I drive it should be good for a week or two now before something else decides to rear its greasy little head
