thats you, not everyone "needed" one or was going to buy one so saying that it's 25 bucks and there is nothing to lose isn't true to everyone around here

As far as needing one, that's like "needing" booster cables,a tow strap, a spare fuel filter,50 lbs of tools in the truck box. You don't "need" any of them til things go sideways for you or a buddy, AND THEN THEY'RE MANDATORY! guaranteed any of those items, take it out of the truck for 5 minutes and that's what you'll need before the sun goes down. I don't need a ranchhand bumper and winch. At least not until that moose steps out in front of me, or I find that guy out in the backcountry who slid of the road and needs a $500+ tow to get him 30 feet back on the road.

If it doesnt work you get a refund..

If I told you to buy $25,000 of Google stock, and it goes down or stays the same Google refunds your money next day, or if it multiplies by 10 the next week you get to keep the gains, guaranteed by google would you do it?

Wait, time is money. We dont have time for that right?

Booster pack was listed 90% off, now I'm not a stupid guy..I looked at his sales, I checked out everything. It takes 30 seconds to buy and if it doesnt work out, Ebay protects you. You get your money back. If it did have the 1% chance of working, it'd be a home run. If it didnt, well I end up in the same situation I was before.

I used to carry about 300lbs of all kinds of spare parts/tools/fluids/etc. in my last truck and everybody always poked and laughed but when anybody broke down out on the trail or along the highway somewhere, we were usually shortly back up and running with minimal effort.

I got an email from ebay this morning.
I kinda expected it, but it is like calling in a deal on Craigslist. It may or may not be a deal. But even if I lose $25, I have wasted $25 in fuel just exploring, and have no regrets. I would have more disturbed with myself if I DIDNíT go for it!

not saying I don't have stuff incase of an emergency, cables and such but if you've already got all of that why carry have stuff you don't need if you've got it covered else where.
