well just got off the phone with discount tire corporate and they are sending an inspector out
also got off the phone with the shop and they are saying the wheels are tweaked where the lugs go and are not safe to use so i may be looking at new wheels
anyone in a praying mood please send up a few that this get taken care of because i am too broke to fix it my self at the moment and i NEED my truck for winter

I think there was a fix for that. Running it through an on/off switch for when you need it.

But some were not too fond of the idea for some reason.

I have some old factory wheels that you are more than welcome to have should the need come to suffice for the time being.
But I think they are from an early 03 or 02. So I forget If 17s will work with our brakes or not?

Sounds like discount tire is buying you a new set of wheels too. Don't go cheap! Hope they don't make a fight out of it. Might have to borrow a business card drom a lawyer to hand to the inspector if he wants to fuss

What sort of switch, power direct to locker? Or inline with factory switch?
What could be the downside?

I agree 100%,but I never pay msrp.i get "A" plan pricing at Ford. My grandpa work there for around 35 years or more. I'd never buy a Chevrolet ever. Just the way I am. Don't like them.
