Alright Mr. John Galt what size wheels are on your truck, 16" or 17" ?

Brother in Law has both on some trucks. Was only my nephews at the shop tonight but they said they can yank off the wheels and throw some steel ones on the truck. Now I still need to hear the same line from their pop, but I'm sure he will say the same thing. The 17's looked better then the 16" wheels but I'm sure they will clean up all the same.

My tailgate that I gave him when I bought my current truck is gone. The boys said that someone most likely sold them and it wasn't them. Last time I was there was a stack of tailgates but today there was only one I posted up above. But its going to be a lot tougher letting this one go, my original 2006 tailgate was flawless and it had chrome something at the handle. I think it was the inset and not the handle but I forget now. Someone turned it into cash that got shoved into a pocket.

Shop had a lot of trucks out on jobs because this is light.

Think thats 16"

Thats the 17"

There is a area there where there is fenders and doors, beds, bumpers you name it its there. He buys trucks that have blown engines and trucks that have been wrecked and they pull off what they need and junk the rest. They have 34 F250's along with a few Chevrolets. Those F250's with gas engines go 400,000 miles he said without missing a beat.
He had 4 or 5 6.0 F250's and they all got scrapped. They all had issues and when the warranty's expired he wanted nothing to do with them. I had a stack of parts at one time, I think I had 4 FICM's lol and down to 2 now. Gave Ed at ficmrepair.com a pair of them for some FICM upgrading. That was a waste because I turned that FICM into a smashed pile of goo when the truck committed suicide and the FICM came through the firewall.

Anyways the 6.0 trucks are long gone. He couldn't sell the engines for $50.00 at the time and ended up having a metal scrap guy haul them off. He did strip them down to cab and engine only. It might of been five 6.0 trucks actually.

Headed out to Omaha Friday afternoon. The new girl I've been talking to for the last month is flying me out there to hangout for the weekend. She will out here to see me the third week of October then she just booked me tickets to go see her in San Diego the following weekend. Everyday she amazes me by something she does or says and is an absolutely incredible woman. She's by far the most down to earth and least amount of bullchit girl I've ever met! It's a great feeling to finally be happy again and this girl puts a smile on my face a mile wide all day long everyday

And the saga continues. Drove to work early this morning to get out of traffic and my ECT stayed right between 192 and 194 with a max of 196. Driving home in stop and go traffic in 80* heat it got up to 216... Is this normal? I'm talking stop and go for at least an hour, my usual commute time is 2 hours down and 2 hours back (1.25 hour down and 2.5 today though).

Aaaaand my Edge backup cam came in today.
Running hotter than it should. Look in front of the radiator, between that and the AC and see if there's any crud blocking your air flow. You can blow that out with shop air. You may want to pull your heater hose and see if the water pump is pumping good. Or just get a new Dieselsite or BPD pump and put it in. The OEM pump is one of the weak areas addressed on a full bulletproof job.

Yea talked with him yesterday and why I swung by the shop. But now I'm in love with my newly found tailgate. LMAO

Hell he should be happy with just the aluminum set of wheels.................don't you think. Its really hard to give me a guilty conscience. Because I have over 54 years learned to say go F yourself without missing a syllable .
