Looking for traction bars , best bang for the buck! DIY kit will work too.

I have the Pro-Comps. I got the bars and the installation kit from 4 Wheel Parts I think. I chose them for their easy bolt-on installation and reasonable price. We had to improvise a bit with the centering pins. They can be a little tricky if you have aftermarket lift blocks that are enclosed on all 4 sides like my Newton blocks are. We ended up drilling holes through the centering pins on my blocks and welding the new extension pins into the holes since I couldn't get the nut on the end of the pin extension without cutting holes in the side of my blocks. If I would have had the foresight to buy the ready-lift blocks or F350 blocks before I bought the Pro-Comp Kit, it would be pretty straight forward since those blocks have an open side. Other than that, installation was easy. I think they help quite a bit and the truck rides a little more stout. They're the only ones I've tried so I can't compare their performance to other options but I do like having them better than not having them.
